American Art
The Dicke Wing of American Art traces the evolution of American art from colonial times to the 21st century. The collection includes significant pieces of colonial furniture and decorative arts, as well as notable works by Mary Cassatt, Edward Hopper, Grandma Moses, Childe Hassam and others. The DAI also boasts an impressive collection of postwar American art, including works by Robert Motherwell, Josef Albers, Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
