Search the Collection
NEW! The DAI collection contains more than 27,000 objects, but only about 1,000 are on view in the galleries at any given time. You can now search the entire Dayton Art Institute collection via our new eMuseum portal, powered by Gallery Systems. This project was made possible through generous support from Beavercreek residents Steve and Kate Hone.
The collection portal includes works of art that are currently part of the DAI’s “Permanent Collection” (owned by the DAI), works of art from The Harold W. and Mary Louise Shaw Foundation on view in the Art of the Ancient Americas gallery, and works of Oceanic art that are promised gifts of Donald and Sue Dugan. The site does not contain information regarding works on loan or works included in special exhibitions at the DAI.
All images and content are intended for personal and educational use. Information on works of art in the DAI’s collection is a living and changing entity. If you have questions or comments, please contact our Curatorial Department through the contact form.
