The Dayton Art Institute's permanent collection features more than 1,000 works on view at the museum. The collection includes extensive  Asian, pre-Columbian, European, American and Contemporary works.

The museum’s Experiencenter, is an interactive gallery for families and young people which offers visitors the opportunity to experience great art in smaller, thematically based exhibitions that stimulate curiosity and creativity.  Click here to read more about its current exhibition, I See the Rhythm.

The museum also hosts a diverse range of special exhibitions, such as our 2014 exhibitions, Isabella Kirkland: Stilled Life, Dayton Celebrates Glass: Chihuly and Beyond, and Deco Japan.
