Kind of Funny

Every photograph is the product of choices someone made, like where to look, what to include, and when to “click.” The things that end up in the frame can be carefully planned, accidental, or the good luck of paying attention and being in the right place at the right time. The 33 photographs in this exhibition are all from the DAI permanent collection, and are also a little bit funny—offbeat, unexpected, or humorous—in context, in content, or comparison to one another. These photographers work with a sense of playfulness, wit, and irreverence. So please, relax your shoulders, shake off the seriousness, and enjoy.
Plan your visit to see these and other incredible works!
