Daruma Sculpture

Young artists will make a tiny sculpture and a wish!
An example of the Daruma Sculpture that will be created in this month's PNC Tiny Thursdays at Home lesson.
The image shows this week's featured artwork, a Japanese Daruma, created in the late 1700s-early 1800s by Tanaka Minko.

Materials Needed:
• air-dry clay
• q-tips
• popsicle stick
• small sponge
• cup of water
• paper towels
• wax paper
• acrylic paint (red, white, black)
• paint palette or paper plate
• paint brushes
