Oktoberfest Steinholding Competition
Test Your Strength in the Oktoberfest Steinholding Competition, presented by Pella Windows & Doors of Dayton!
Masskrugstemmen, or beer Steinholding, is a relatively new sport in America, but its popularity has been growing quickly. We are excited to bring this longstanding sport to the Dayton Art Institute’s Oktoberfest as an official U.S. Steinholding Association qualifying event!
Our Steinholding competition will be held on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. in front of the main museum entrance. The women’s category will compete first, followed by the men’s category.

Location: Oktoberfest, at the food court stage
Admission: $10 per registrant and a valid admission to Oktoberfest to compete

- Meet us at the food court stage at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, to check in for the competition.
