Looking for fun and creative projects for you and your family? Take your family on an ARTventure with a variety of art-making experiences.
Guided by a museum educator, each ARTventure explores the artistic processes of a highlighted artwork in the museum’s collection. Each month is a different experience for the whole family to enjoy!
This in-person program is perfect for all ages and all levels of artistic ability. Individual creativity and self-expression is encouraged! Drop-ins welcome.
Time: Every 2nd Saturday, 1:00-3:00
Location: Lange Family Experienceter Classroom
Ages: All ages welcome!
Cost: Free with admission, advanced registration encouraged
Supplies: Provided
Max Capacity: 20 max at any given time (20 max capacity of the room, guests welcome to wait in Experiencenter Gallery until space is available if classroom is filled). Drop-in Studio format.

Using pattern, shape, and color, construct a delicately decorated paper collage to explore the excellent artworks of Special Exhibition: The Artistic Life of Aka Pereyma.
April 13: Japanese Cherry Tree Printmaking – Featured Gallery / Exhibition: Gallery 105 Japanese Art
Let your creativity blossom as we explore printmaking techniques and processes featured in our Japanese print collection. Create Styrofoam relief prints of Japanese cherry trees to celebrate the beginning of spring!
