In conjunction with the special exhibitions Storm, Watershed & Riverbank, an exhibit of digital prints by local photographer Maury Wyckoff is on display in Leo Bistro through May 30. As Chief Building Official for Montgomery County, Wyckoff has spent a good portion of his life observing and assessing the built environment. As he methodically documents our surroundings, he has become attuned to visual rhythms and nuances, and his vocation and his artistry have become one. He has often returned to his work sites with a different camera to capture the scene with his artist’s eye.
