Annual Fund

Art means different things to different people, but what we can say with certainty is that art has meaning to all of us. Contributions to our Annual Fund provide essential support for The Dayton Art Institute’s overall operation. Singer, songwriter and Dayton native David Poe hosted a benefit concert at the museum and shared an important message: the need for friends like you to give what you can to sustain this community treasure for now and the future.

Please watch this brief video highlighting David's performance and some of The DAI's treasures:

Annual FundA strong Annual Fund ensures the fiscal vitality of the Art Institute, enabling the museum to maintain and grow its collection, continue to bring world-class special exhibitions to Dayton and serve as an important source of education and enjoyment for residents of the greater Miami Valley.

Your gift helps young artists discover connections between art, math, history and science, and have experiences they might not otherwise be able to enjoy. Your gift also supports training for the more than 100 volunteer docents who teach more than 10,000 students through interactive experiences in the galleries. The museum reaches learners at every age and life stage, and your gift enables our education staff to develop programs for this wide audience.

Annual FundYour personal commitment to The Dayton Art Institute's Annual Fund helps ensure the arts and arts education maintain a strong presence in the Miami Valley. As one of the area's premier fine art museums, The Dayton Art Institute is committed to providing meaningful, life-expanding experiences for people of all ages.

Your gift of $50, $100, $250 or any other amount you’re comfortable with makes it possible to continue to provide future generations the opportunity to enjoy the art, history, education and fun to be found at The Dayton Art Institute.
