Employment
We appreciate your interest in The Dayton Art Institute as a potential employer. The museum offers a variety of exempt and non-exempt positions within four divisions. The collection & public programs, external affairs, operations & administrations, and resource development divisions recruit professional, experienced individuals to enhance our ability and reputation for providing quality service to our community and the world around us. Our employees obtain extensive knowledge of the arts, which compliments their area of expertise.
All open positions offered by these divisions are subject to specific job skill requirements. The division offering the position determines the job skill requirements, qualifications and preferred experience.
The museum offers a competitive salary and benefits package with the majority of its positions.
How to Apply
As positions become available, they are placed on our website. Unless advised otherwise, send your cover letter and resume to: The Dayton Art Institute, Monica Walker, Human Resources Manager, 456 Belmonte Park North, Dayton OH 45405-4700, or email: mwalker@daytonart.org. The Human Resources Department will accept resumes for open positions only.
Once your resume is successfully submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. Submitting a resume to The Dayton Art Institute implies that you are interested in a position(s), it does not mean you are an applicant. You are usually not considered an applicant until someone on our staff has contacted you. You will then be asked to begin the designated application process, which will involve an interview, reference and criminal background records check.
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applicants, we are unable to provide specific requests for status updates.
The Dayton Art Institute is an equal opportunity employer.
