The Oktoberfest celebration begins on Friday, September 25 with the Lederhosen Lunch from 11 AM to 1:30 PM

Admission to the festival grounds is free (the only free admission of the weekend!) for this special community lunch, hosted by the DAI’s Former Associate Board (FAB). A variety of foods are available for purchase, including brats, metts, schnitzel sandwiches, German salads, homemade noodles and beverages. The main beer truck will be tapped for the Lederhosen Lunch, offering the first Oktoberfest beer of the weekend! Lederhosen Lunch also features live music and the opportunity to purchase Oktoberfest tickets, mugs and t-shirts.

RTA Shuttle Service: RTA will provide free shuttle service from downtown Dayton to the DAI during the Lederhosen Lunch on Friday. Click for more information
