Event History

Art in Bloom was introduced by the Dayton Art Institute in 2025 as one of its newest signature fundraising events. Designed to bring together art in multiple forms, community, and a summer garden party atmosphere, the inaugural event raised funds to support programs and pieces in the museum’s collection.

Due to its early success and strong community engagement, Art in Bloom returns in 2026 for its second year. Today, the event reflects the DAI’s commitment to innovative fundraising and stewardship of the region’s cultural heritage.
