About the Art

Seemingly whimsical, this work addresses larger issues relating to the delicate balance of the natural world. The one-armed figure has classical features and balances a green sphere, a reference to the earth. The elephants at top allude to memory, while the floral elements signify regeneration. Made of multiple parts epoxied together, the artist mixed and melted metallic oxides to give color to each separate component.
