Art Ball Grand Draw Raffle: Official Contest Rules

By participating, you agree that:

1. The sponsor of The Art Ball Grand Draw Raffle (the “Contest”) is The Dayton Art Institute,  456 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, OH 45405 (“Sponsor”). Tickets may be purchased at www.ArtBallRaffle.com beginning on March 22, 2024. There will be a minimum of 100 tickets sold (the “Minimum”) and a maximum of 600 tickets sold. Tickets will be sold on-line until the sooner of June 6, 2024 at 11:59pm EST and the sale of the final ticket. Tickets may be sold in person from 6–8 PM on June 8, 2024 if tickets remain available. One winner will win a 7-night stay at Blue Island Villa, Turks and Caicos, and other amenities as described on the Contest’s Web page (“Prize”). Not every week is available; no substitute prizes or cash equivalent shall be awarded.

2. The winner will be randomly selected at the live event on June 8, 2024. The raffle drawing will be audited by Clark Schaefer Hackett, CPAs .

3. If the maximum sum of tickets is sold, then your odds per ticket of winning is approximately 1:600. The estimated average retail price of the Grand Prize is $25,000 USD.

1. Void where prohibited by law. Must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket. There is not a maximum number of entries per person. Sponsor’s employees and their immediate family members (spouse, daughter, son) are not eligible.

5. Sponsor will inform the winner based on the contact information provided at the time of the purchase of the ticket. The winner shall, within ten (10) days of request, submit a winner’s affidavit, sign a rental agreement for the Prize in the form provided by the owner/manager of the resort (“Owner”) and shall propose three (3) nonconsecutive weeks within the next 12 months that are suitable to the winner for using the Prize. If none of winner’s three selections is available, then this process shall continue until a week is available. There are no refunds or rescheduling, except as set forth in the rental agreement between Owner and the winner. Failure of the winner to timely complete these obligations may result in my forfeiture of the Prize. The name of the winner will be made available upon request.

5. Sponsor reserves the right to (a) cancel or modify the Contest if fraud, misconduct or technical failures affect the Contest, and (b) refund all tickets if the Minimum tickets are not sold.

6. Any and all taxes (e.g. federal, state, and local) are the sole responsibility of the winner, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor may requireany winner to provide his/her social security number for tax reporting purposes or complete a Form W-9. The cost of raffle tickets purchased is not tax deductible.

7. Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission to Sponsor to use the name, photograph, voice and/or likeness of the winner for advertising and publicity purposes without the prior approval of entrant and without compensation to entrant.

8. By accepting a Prize, a winner agrees to hold Sponsor (including without limitation its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, attorneys, assigns and the owner of the site of the Contest) harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use of Prize, the winner’s participation in the Contest and/or the winner’s breach of these Official Rules. Winner assumes all liability for compliance with laws and for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest.

9. By purchasing a ticket, an entrant agrees that these Official Rules are a binding contract between entrant and Sponsor, but are not binding upon Owner.
