Create your own Art Nouveau-inspired mosaic coasters in this two-session workshop led by the founder of the Mosaic Institute of Dayton, Jes McMillan. Bring the beauty of nature to your home with a functional artwork of your own handiwork using peacock feathers as inspiration for your design.

Artist Bio:

Jes McMillan is an Artist Activist in Dayton, Ohio. She founded the Mosaic Institute in 2015, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring, empowering and unifying community through art. She accomplishes this mission by going out into neighborhoods to bring people together to create collaborative public art mosaics that last for generations, serving as a true testament to unity. McMillan has unified thousands in the Miami Valley to create over 30 permanent public mosaic art installations, including the 8.4 Memorial Mosaic involving over 5000 participants.
