Experience the Exhibition: Comical Clay Figures and Faces

Cost: $35 for museum members; $45 for non-members

Each month is an in-depth study with an object, art movement, and / or the artistic techniques and processes featured in the collection galleries OR Special Exhibitions. Experience a hands-on immersive art history lesson with the tools and tricks of the trade! Each session features an in-gallery examination of an artwork, followed by an in-studio art project.

Let’s face it—we all could use a good laugh! This is your time to experiment with a variety of clay hand-building relief techniques while exploring expressions of exaggerated emotions. From forming funny faces to creating cartoonish caricatures and figurines, this experience will leave you feeling absolutely animated!
