Leonardo League volunteers support The Dayton
Art Institute by
volunteering their services to assist the museum staff with day to day
operations, exhibitions and special events.

All areas
of the museum benefit from volunteers.
- Take tickets for special exhibition
- Distribute audio guides to visitors
- Conduct visitor surveys
- Take ticket reservations by phone
In addition
to special exhibitions, the following Volunteer positions are filled on
an "as needed" basis:
- Visitor Services: Greeters, Ticket sales, Membership
sales Phone Center Operations
- Exhibitions Assistants: Ticket Takers, Audio
Guide Distribution,
Greeters
- Museum Store and Exit Store assistants
- Education: Resource Center, Experiencenter
- Special Events: Greeters, Admissions, Member
Check-in
Membership
in The Dayton Art Institute is strongly encouraged and a minimum of 25
hours service per year is required to maintain active Leonardo League
membership. The Leonardo League Executive Committee directs the Training,
Membership-Recruitment, Recognition, Social and Travel activities of its
members under the supervision of the Department of External Affairs and
the Operations Manager. Some of the benefits of Leonardo League volunteering
include:
- Volunteer Information Sessions for Training and
Art Appreciation (V.I.S.T.A.)
- Quarterly Newsletter: The Artisan Advisor
- Exclusive Leonardo League Travel and Social Events
- Invitation to Annual Leonardo League Recognition
