REFLECTIONS IN A LOOKING GLASS:
A Lewis Carroll Centenary Exhibition
With support from the Rex Stores Corporation
Organized by the Harry Ransom Humanities Center,
University of Texas at Austin and circulated by Curatorial Assistance
Inc., Los Angeles.
This exhibition will feature photographs, drawings,
paintings and manuscripts by the Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, who
wrote and published Alice's Adventures in Wonderland under the pseudonym
Lewis Carroll in 1865, followed by Through the Looking Glass and What
Alice Found There in 1871.
REFLECTIONS IN A LOOKING GLASS provides a unique
window into the world of Victorian England. It also gives a fascinating
overview of one of the 19th century's most accomplished photographers
and one of its most creative and interesting characters.
