YOUTH & FAMILY PROGRAMS
Inside Egypt
This new installation in the museum’s interactive family gallery, the Experiencenter, takes visitors back in time to ancient Egypt. Children and their families will learn about construction of the Great Pyramids at Giza, write coded messages in hieroglyphs, and make drawings like the ancient Egyptians. An interactive map and timeline will enhance visitors’ understanding of this intriguing ancient culture. The Experiencenter is open during normal museum hours. Admission is free.
