Egyptian Relief Sculpture
Thursdays, October 5 - November 9, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Explore the variety of sculpted objects in THE QUEST FOR IMMORTALITY and create a finished Egyptian-inspired relief.  This class will guide participants through the process of creating a work of art from preliminary sketches to the finished piece.  Novices as well as experienced artists are welcome in this six-week-long studio. Most materials are provided.

Fees: $100 for members, $110 for non-members.

Ancient Adornments

Discover the art of Egyptian jewelry at one of these intensive workshops. Workshops will include a brief talk about Egyptian adornment followed by a hands-on jewelry making session. Each workshop is $55 for members, $65 for non-members and includes all materials.

    Discover how ancient Egyptians made enameled pieces and create your own protective enameled amulet or other Egyptian inspired jewelry with artist Teresa Olavarria.

  • Metal
    Saturday, November 12, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    Led by artist Jeanne Wenrick, this workshop will teach you how to use silver clay to sculpt and mold jewelry inspired by the fine gold objects in the exhibition. Leave the workshop with your own original sterling silver jewelry.

An Afternoon of Egyptian Arts
Sunday, December 4, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Discover the diversity of Egypt with our partners from The Nile Gallery in Sharonville, Ohio. Sample Egyptian cuisine, revel in the allure of belly dancing, and learn about the symbolism in ancient Egyptian jewelry as you create your own work of art.

Fees: $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
