Lectures and Films Panel Discussion Sunday, March 16 The Art of Collecting Prints Join Museum Director, Janice Driesbach as she moderates a panel of experts discussing the “art of collecting prints.” Art Prints offer an accessible way to enter the art collecting market. Hear from Carl Solway, of Carl Solway Gallery in Cincinnati, Linda Lombard an avid print collector and David Leach, printmaker and collector along with curator Eileen Carr. This panel promises to give you curatorial and artistic insight as well as practical information and advice to navigate your way in the print market. Learn how to get started, understand the terminology used and know what to look for when you’re buying. Free for Museum members, $8 for non-members

AMERICAN MASTERS Andy Warhol: A Documentary Film“Nicknamed the Prince of Pop, Warhol is best known for his paintings of daily objects, such as Campbell Soup cans, and celebrities, like Marilyn Monroe. In the '60s, these paintings gained their popularity because they changed the standards of commercial art by encompassing characteristics of fine art.
