A cowboy boot violin, a bike seat banjo, and a pitch fork cello are just a few of the unusual creations of Ken Butler, an accomplished visual artist as well as musician.
Butler's playable hybrid musical instruments, made from household objects and tools, have been featured in numerous exhibitions and performances throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, as well as South America, Thailand, and Japan.
Butler has been featured on PBS, CNN, MTV, and NBC, including a live performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
