Vanguard Concerts is a non-profit organization founded in 1962 to present an annual international chamber music series at The Dayton Art Institute.

Vanguard Concerts brings its 46th season of the world’s top chamber music ensembles and soloists to The Dayton Art Institute’s magnificent NCR Renaissance Auditorium.

Vanguard Concerts season is October through April. All concerts are held at 8 p.m. in the NCR Renaissance Auditorium of The Dayton Art Institute.

Prima Trio from Oberlin
Violinist Farhad Hudiyev, clarinetist Boris Allakhverdyan, and pianist Anastasia Dedik formed the Prima Trio at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2004. They were grand prize winners of the 2007 Fischoff national chamber music competition. Last year’s season included a performance at the Oberlin College Presidential Inauguration Concert, plus concerts in Germany and Italy.
