The 51st anniversary Art Ball was a magical evening filled with grace, beauty and elegance. Attendees enjoyed delicious cuisine catered by Elegant Fare, gambling in the National City Casino, dancing to bands Kick N’ Flava, The Khalid Moss Trio and Blindspot, and so much more!

David Huchthausen, American Telestar Sphere (2006) |
This year’s attendees cast their votes for the museum’s newest acquisition; a cold-worked assembled glass piece entitled Telestar Sphere (2006) by American artist David Huchthausen. Light reflects and refracts the embedded glass of this piece, creating delightful and everchanging effects. This striking piece will be a welcome addition to The Dayton Art Institute’s permanent collection.
