Mark your calendars for Oktoberfest 2015, taking place September 25-27, 2015. Oktoberfest is the museum's largest annual fundraiser and vital to everything we do.
Presented by Miller Lite, this community event boasts an array of artisans, unique foods, ample domestic, international and craft beers, kid-friendly art activities, live music on two stages, international wines and so much more! Oktoberfest includes a fully covered Main Stage viewing area and an expanded Craft Beer tent with big-screen TVs for all the weekend football action. The ACCO Brands FamilyFest provides free art activities for the kids, from noon – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Check back often for updates and information about Dayton's favorite fall festival!
Join us on the Friday of Oktoberfest weekend, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., for brats, metts, schnitzel sandwiches, German salads, homemade noodles, specialty cupcakes and live entertainment. There’s no charge to enter the grounds for this special lunch hosted by The Dayton Art Institute’s Associate Board Alumni. You may also buy your event tickets, mugs & tees while you are here. We will be tapping the main beer truck for the event. Don’t miss it!
The annual Oktoberfest Preview Party, presented by Premier Health, takes place on the Friday of Oktoberfest weekend, 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. Guests enjoy complimentary draft beer and wine, live entertainment and great socializing in a casual, less-crowded atmosphere.
