The fall festival season is upon us, and that means it's almost time for Oktoberfest 2016, taking place September 23-25! Oktoberfest is the museum's largest annual fundraiser and vital to everything we do!
Presented by Miller Lite, this community event boasts an array of artisans, unique foods, ample domestic, international and craft beers, international wines, kid-friendly art activities, live music on two stages throughout the weekend (What bands are playing this year? Click Here to find out!), and much more! Oktoberfest includes a fully covered Main Stage viewing area, Food Court, and “TV Cave” with four big-screen TVs for all the weekend football action.

Kick off the celebration with the only free admission of the weekend! This community lunch, hosted by The DAI’s Associate Board Alumni, features brats, metts, schnitzel sandwiches, German salads, homemade noodles and live entertainment. Read More

Oktoberfest wouldn't be possible without the support of more than 2,000 volunteers each year. There are many different volunteer opportunities available at Oktoberfest 2016, including selling Oktoberfest mugs and t-shirts, selling soft drinks and water, staffing admission gates, serving as greeters in the museum, and assisting with family activities at the ACCO Brands FamilyFest.
