Vanguard Concerts

The Vanguard Concerts golden anniversary season presents four outstanding chamber music ensembles, plus a virtuoso piano soloist. We hope you will join us to be a part of this anniversary season, as a climatic celebration of 50 years of chamber music excellence.

Vanguard Concerts, founded in 1962, presents an annual international chamber music series at The Dayton Art Institute. Vanguard brings the world’s top chamber music ensembles and soloists to The Dayton Art Institute. Over the years, Vanguard has presented 249 performances, involving more than 1,200 musicians from every corner of the world, who have performed an extensive variety of works, from Elizabethan times to the dawn of this century. One thing they all have had in common, from the very beginning – they have represented the highest standards of world class musicianship.

Ticket Information

All Vanguard Concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. in the NCR Renaissance Auditorium.

Individual tickets for the Juilliard String Quartet are priced at $30 for adults and $20 for students. Individual tickets for all other concerts are priced at $20 for adults and $15 for students.
