Music/Concerts

Music has been an integral part of The Dayton Art Institute since the museum's early years. The popular Twilight Concerts and Afternoon Musicales are among the longest-running concert traditions in the Dayton area. Vanguard Concerts has presented an chamber music series at the museum since 1962. The Vectren Just Jazz series presents some of the best local and regional jazz performers. The Dayton Art Institute also regularly partners with other arts organizations, such as Cityfolk and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, to present concerts.
