Music/Concerts

Music has been an integral part of The Dayton Art Institute since the museum's early years. The popular Twilight Concerts and Afternoon Musicales are among the longest-running concert traditions in the Dayton area. Vanguard Concerts has presented an chamber music series at the museum since 1962. The Vectren Jazz & Beyond series presents some of the best local and regional jazz performers. The Dayton Art Institute also partners with other arts organizations, such as Cityfolk, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and University of Dayton, to present concerts.
