
The Dayton
Art Institute Lott Memorial Library, established in 1922, holds a large
collection of resources related to the visual arts and architecture. The
library's collections include:
- Books
- Periodicals
- Auction catalogs
- Artist information files
- Art museum brochures
- Archives
- Information on the former School of the
Dayton Art Institute, including transcript records.
Although
library materials do not circulate, the facility is open to the public.
A photocopier is available at $.10/page. Knowledgeable staff is available
for assistance with finding information and will take reference questions
in person, by phone, or via e-mail

Library Hours
The Art Reference Library is open to the public Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 5p.m. by appoinment only.
