(IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, you can search the library

Since
we are an affiliate of the Wright State University Libraries, your search
will show WSU holdings as well as DAI holdings. Search by title, author,
or subject, or choose the general keyword search. Look for the LOCATION

Lott
Memorial Library
The
Dayton Art Institute Lott Memorial Library, established in 1922, holds
a large collection of resources related to the
visual arts and architecture. The library’s collections include:
- Books
- Periodicals
- Auction catalogs
- Artist information files
- Art museum brochures
- Archives
- Information on the former School of the Dayton
Art Institute, including transcript records.
Although
library materials do not circulate, the facility is open to the
public. A photocopier is available at $.10/page. Knowledgeable staff is
available for assistance with finding information and will take reference
questions in person, by phone, or via e-mail.

The Art Reference Library is open to the public Monday through Wednesday,
8 a.m. - 5p.m. by appointment only.
